“The Compleat Angler” was first published in 1653. The first edition contained the first part only by Isaak Walton. The fifth edition was issued i 1676 and included the second part by Charles Cotton. John Major’s edition was first published in 1823. This edition is reprinted from Major’s edition of 1889 and is published in 1927.
